Alto TS408 Professional Truesonic 8” Active Loudspeaker

Alto’s TS4 line is yet another great addition to the acclaimed TS series of loudspeakers, known for their amazingly clear sound, powerful delivery and comprehensive functionality and connectivity. The Alto TS408 Professional Truesonic 8” Active Loudspeaker pushes all of those qualities up a notch, superseding all.

Ideal for smaller venues, the TS408 is a compact, lightweight unit containing an 8” woofer and a 1.4” compression driver serving a fanless class D amplifier fuelled by 2000W of class-leading power, joining forces to deliver loud and crystal clear hi-def sound. 

From its comprehensive controls to its M6 suspension points, the TS408 offers a high degree of functionality and reliability, making it a great choice for the prolific performer. The cabinet is lightweight and stylish, not to mention versatile - its shape means that it can be used in a multitude of formats, whether you require it to be freestanding, a floor-positioned wedge monitor, pole-mounted, or even suspended via the integrated suspension points.

The TS408 features an integrated 3-channel mixer with two Mic/Line input channels and a dedicated Bluetooth channel. The Mic/Line channels feature XLR/TRS combo jacks and can be used with microphones, instruments, and line-level signals without the need for additional hardware or adjustment. Just plug straight into the rear panel and you’re up and running.

However you decide to orient your TS408, its control panel allows you to optimise settings accordingly. There are four preset “Speaker Use” modes, so no matter how your speaker is situated, you’ll have an ideal EQ base to work with for the best possible sound. You can then use the fantastic Alto App to remotely adjust your EQ settings, and even save and reload previous custom settings.

The Alto App is available free for both Android and iOS and is a great way to control your TS408. The App provides remote control over a host of adjustable parameters such as Bluetooth levels, Speaker Use Modes, Custom EQ and Sub Size selection. The TS408’s built-in Bluetooth connectivity is a great addition that allows you to communicate easily - and wirelessly - to your external media devices, enabling access to your audio libraries. There is also a neat True Wireless Stereo function, which utilises Bluetooth tech in order to stream audio to two TS4 speakers in perfect stereo without the need for any cables at all.
