This batter head is equipped with Evans’ acclaimed Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping (EMAD) system. This brilliant design allows you to choose from a selection of foam damping rings of varied mass that can be fitted to the exterior face of the skin to achieve the level of damping that you desire. It's an incredibly easy way to alter your sound.

The Emad 1 is constructed from a single ply of 10mil film that is coated in a white textured finish for extra protection and increased durability. It also enhances this skins brilliant, well-balanced combination of power, attack and low-end thump.
