Description

The Boss GT-100 has always been a powerful multi-effects unit but the new Version 2.0 update grants it a host of amazing new features that make it untouchable. The update provides two new amp types - BGNR UB Metal and ORNG Rock Reverb - as well as enhanced MDP effects, an acoustic guitar simulator and an improved rotary effect. A new guitar-to-MIDI feature allows you to connect to a computer and use your guitar to play synths and input MIDI notes, while expanded USB audio capabilities provide more re-amping options.

The GT-100’s next-gen COSM processor authentically recreates the distinctive character of vintage amps and does a fantastic job of modelling a host of popular modern amp sounds too. You can also explore the Amp Customise function, a powerful tool that lets you edit the amps in the GT-100’s library to create completely new custom sounds.

You can also deep dive into all of the GT-100’s adjustable parameters and organisation structure via the Boss Tone Studio*, a free downloadable app available for Mac and Windows. The Boss Tone Studio* offers an intuitive editing interface that, via a USB link, allows you to create, edit and organise your effects patches and a host of other customisable features. The Boss Tone Studio* also provides access to the Boss Tone Central website, an online hub for Boss users everywhere. Here, you can preview and download free gig-ready patches created by the Boss community, as well as top guitar pros, and have access to video tutorials, artist tips, and a lot more handy free content.

The GT-100 possesses a clear dual-LCD display and an eight-knob user panel that provides quick, easy and intuitive control over your patches. The interface is as simple as could be - every function is instantly available without having to dive into sub-menus and folders. Tone-customising tools have also had an upgrade - all patches, amps, and overdrives/distortions can easily be created and customised via a user-friendly graphical Tone Grid. Boss could not have made this unit easier to navigate.

The Accel pedal is much more than just an expression pedal. Not only does it provide responsive control over time-variant effects such as Feedbacker, S-Bend, Twist, etc, it also allows you to control multiple parameters simultaneously and in real time - a very useful tool for live performers.

The GT-100 provides a versatile A/B Channel Divider that lets you assign different amps and/or effects to each channel, allowing you to easily blend them together or switch between them - you can even set channels up so they can be toggled by playing strength or frequency range! With the GT-100 and its brilliant V2 update, your sonic options are limitless.

*GT-100 Version 2.0 software is required for compatibility with BOSS TONE STUDIO.
