Designed by the team that brought you the highly acclaimed Katana Guitar Amplifiers, the compact Boss Katana-110 Bass Amplifier is the next step in versatility, power and tonal control. Boss has poured all of its expertise into the creation of this amp and the result is a stage-ready unit that offers a comprehensive range of sound options for the modern bass guitarist.

The Boss Katana-110 Bass Amplifier boasts three unique amp characters with a wide tonal range and a series of fantastic onboard BOSS effects. Each of the three preamp types has a three-way Shape switch that enables you to precision-tune its character to the exact style you need, whatever kind of music you play.  The first character is Vintage, which offers an organic tube voice with a natural drive. The second character is Flat, for a clear and smooth dynamic tone, rich in harmonics. The last character is modern and has a fast dynamic response and an extended bass range.

Every amp in the Katana range features amazing onboard BOSS effects, and the quality of the Katana-110 Bass Amp’s effects hasn't been overlooked. Dedicated comp/limiter and drive sections provide core processing, while FX1 and FX2 offer a broad array of options from the BOSS bass effects library. You’ve access to everything from chorus and flanger to octave, bass synth, and many more. Including the FX2 section’s staple delay and reverb, the Katana-110 also allows you to access over 60 total effect types which can be downloaded via the BOSS Tone Studio editor.    

The Katana-110 features a comprehensive panel of easy-to-use controls that allow you to intuitively dial in your ideal tone with precision and ease. Another great feature is the studio-inspired Blend section that lets you mix in a dry signal, which can also be shaped via three customizable settings, resulting in a fantastic, organic sound with great depth. There's also a comprehensive four-band EQ with three selectable frequency centres in the low-mid and high-mid bands. 

Ideal for live use, the Katana-110 Bass amp possesses six Tone Setting memories that enable you to store and recall your desired sounds as well as their assigned preamp type, EQ, Blend, and effect settings. You can easily switch between each tone memory via the panel controls or by using an optional footswitch, expression pedal, or GA-FC Foot Controller (each sold separately). 

When it comes to sound quality, the Katana-110’s specially designed speaker system and cabinet is the business, offering a versatile range of high-quality sound ideal for virtually any situation. Between a custom 10” woofer and high-quality tweeter combo, this amp can deliver what you need. The Katana-110 even has a bi-amp function so you can turn the tweeter on and off, so whether you play sharp slap-bass funk or mean and dirty blues, you can refine the sound of your cab.

While being powerful enough for live use, the Katana-110 Bass is also just as equally suited to studio recording and home practice. Its compact design makes it easy to house and its variable Power Control means you can get fully cranked-up tones at low volume levels. For even closer monitoring or silent practice, a useful headphones/recording jack is available that also features effects and mic’d cab emulation. A USB input enables you to connect to a computer or mobile device so you can record directly into your preferred production software.
