The Boss ME-80 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal is a compact, mobile unit jam-packed with a diverse library of high-end BOSS amps and effects. The ME-80 is simple to use, yet is able to handle complex multi-effects setups. There are 8 simultaneous effects categories, each hosting a variety of effects types for you to explore - from Boss' classic pedals to state-of-the-art MDP (Multi-Dimensional Processing) effects - and a selection of fantastic COSM amp models derived from the flagship GT-100 processor.

The ME-80 has been designed with the performer in mind, and offers intuitive navigation and easy control over complex functions. On the surface, you'll see it has eight stompbox-style switches and an expression pedal, all of which are multifunctional and an be used as either on/off style switches or for switching complete patch setups. This versatility allows for a huge amount of freedom, giving you the ability to perform complex sound-shaping in real time. In adition to the pedal/switches, there is also an array of control knobs that allow you to get right into the nitty-gritty of your effects and dial in your creations with precision. 

The ME-80's effects library should hold everything you need to base your creations off of, but for occasions when you really need something different, you will also have access to the free BOSS TONE STUDIO - a powerful piece of software that allows you to hone your tones on your computer before saving them to the ME-80's user patches - and the BOSS TONE CENTRAL hub, where you can share patches with other users and download free effects created by professionals.
