BOSS' RC-5 is a top-of-the-line loop station pedal featuring some of the best components available and its state-of-the-art circuitry supports some serious overdubbing power. It allows you up to 13 hours of full-fidelity stereo recording, so you can capture multiple overdubs with no quality degradation. The RC-5’s advanced interface allows a degree of control never before seen in a loop pedal. The LCD is clear and easy to read on stage, providing a great visual interpretation of your loop status as you perform. It also has a backlight that changes colour to indicate different modes, so you can instantly recognise if you are recording, overdubbing, or in playback mode. The interface is intuitive and a multi-function parameter knob provides a great amount of control, letting you navigate rhythms, kits and system settings with ease.

To support your creative needs, the RC-5 comes with 57 preset rhythms and seven different drum kits already on board to support a huge amount of different styles and genres. A/B variations of each rhythm can be selected from the panel or controlled via MIDI while performing, and there's even a reverse function that can help you create some truly mind-bending layers in your compositions. 

When it comes to memory, the RC-5 can store and recall a huge amount of info. Its bank of 99 phrase memories store not only your audio loops but any rhythms or kits you have used too, so everything you need for your performance can be recalled swiftly. When your RC-5 is full of creations, you can backup your loop audio to your computer via USB before overwriting your work on the pedal with fresh, new ideas. 

The RC-5’s gives a lot of power to its pedal functions. Like most loop pedals, the pedal switch is used to control looping functions such as record, overdub, play, stop, undo/redo, etc… but the RC-5 also allows you to connect up to two additional footswitches or expression pedals to control many of its assignable functions. TRS MIDI I/O enables remote operation from MIDI switchers and foot controllers, plus MIDI sync with drum machines and DAWs.
