During a time of economic depression and faced with little prospects, an unemployed tool maker made an extraordinary decision. With no previous interest in them - and zero knowledge on even how to play them - he decided to focus his workshop skills on the design and building of drums. After what began as a somewhat crazy idea, Mr. Odery’s handmade custom drums soon proved to be hugely popular, and in a relatively short time, the Odery brand was a major player in the drum-manufacturing industry of South America.
Odery’s beautiful drums are crafted from ethically-sourced, sustainable woods, chosen for their exquisite tones and often unusual aesthetic appeal. Alongside their high-end custom drums, Odery also produces a range of economically produced intermediate and entry-level kits.
