Treeworks chimes were founded in 1996, developed in response to frustration with the lack of high quality, great sounding chimes on the market.
Thought and care have gone into every element of a Treeworks chime. Starting with the bars themselves, made from an aluminium/titanium composite that is polished, never dipped or anodized as this can impact the sound and then tuned by ear to ensure a gradual pitch change along the length of the instrument. The chord that attaches each bar to the mantle is braided, sealed and then hand-tied. Finally, the mantle itself only uses the finest of Tennessee hardwoods, hand sanded and oiled to perfection.
