Catalinbread - ADINEKO Oil Can Delay Guitar Effects Pedal
The Oil-Can delay was first invented in the early 60s and became one of the most effective and distinctive sounds in guitar based music. Using a genuine revolving oil can and playback heads; the sound produced was too good not to embrace and it quickly became THE tone of Ennio Morricone style Western soundtracks.
Glimmering, swirling and almost tremelo sounding oil-can delay effect are now at your disposal thanks to the incredible Catalinbread Adineko pedal. In a far more compact form but with the outstanding tones of an analogue pedal, this is a very, very cool piece of gear.
No matter what tone you're looking for it's very easy to achieve on this simple but effective pedal. From light and subtle oil-can tones to the downright insane swirling shimmering spaghetti-western style effects, it's all right here in the Catalinbread Adineko.
To find your desired sound, it's as simple as having a play around with all the dials because there's certainly something here that all music lovers are going to fall in love with. Reverb literally controls the oscillation for desired echoey effect which combined with other dials such as Blend, Timing and Balance, allow you to set the bar over the subtlety of the effect from almost unnoticable to something out of a science fiction movie!
Viscosity is a reference to the amount of oil in the can at the time of usage and acts in a similar manner to a dry/wet control. Wet gives a fuller, more powerful experience, but turn down the dial to take out some of that whackiness!
