About DeliveryThis 1961 Les Paul SG Standard Electric Guitar from Epiphone's Inspired by Gibson range is their outstanding version of one of Gibson’s most popular guitars. This guitar is a tribute to the first SG - a legendary guitar that inspired the shape of rock and roll ever since it made its debut.
The 1961 Les Paul SG Standard features a two-piece solid Mahogany, double-cutaway body with Custom Shop Historic bevels. A fast-playing one-piece Mahogany neck benefits from a SlimTaper C-shaped profile just like the necks on the very first Les Paul SG models. A pair of Gibson BurstBucker humbucking pickups generate this guitar’s distinctive raunchiness, each served by CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors for a high-quality controlled signal.
Vintage appeal is coursing through every inch of this guitar, from its Mahogany grain to its sleek nickel hardware. A set of Epiphone Deluxe tuners feature a double ring design inspired from the originals and a long pickguard distinguishes it as an early ‘60s design. And thanks to its Graph Tech nut, and Switchcraft output jack and toggle switch, the standard of this 1961 Les Paul SG Standard performance is high. Vintage-style hardshell case included.
