This limited-edition Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1962 ES-335 Semi Hollow Electric Guitar pays fitting tribute to the blues-rock virtuoso’s favourite instrument in his infamous collection. Epiphone has done an outstanding job of recreating Bonamassa’s red Gibson ‘62 ES-335, the guitar that accompanied him through the recording of his first solo album and the early days of his solo career. Sadly, Joe was forced to part ways with his ES-355 in 2001, but, as fate would have it, was unexpectedly - and joyfully - reunited with it in 2020. It's a beautiful love story.

Its top, back and sides are crafted from layered Maple and generate a warm, luxurious tone. The hollow-body design makes for a big, full-bodied sound but the Maple adds just the right amount of sensitivity to ensure all of the subtleties in your performance are heard.

A high-performance one-piece Mahogany 24.75” scale neck features an old-school “C” profile with a traditional feel - substantial but perfectly natural in hand. The neck is topped by an Indian Laurel fingerboard that provides a super-smooth platform designed to enhance your dextrous fingerwork.

To achieve the bluesy, rocky, ‘Smoking Joe’ sound, Epiphone have equipped this 335 with a pair of Gibson Burstbucker pickups, wired to high-quality CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors. Designed to recreate the legendary sound of Seth Lover's original PAF humbuckers, these Burstbuckers generate a dynamic, full-bodied tone with plenty of tappable heat. This gorgeous sound is enhanced even further by the addition of a Maestro Vibrola Tailpiece; a rare find on a 335, this Vibrola not only allows you to achieve the same kind of charismatic bends that Joe puts into his work but looks absolutely stunning too. This alluring guitar also features a Switchcraft pickup selector toggle switch and output jack, a Graph Tech nut, small block neck inlays, a Tune-o-Matic LockTone bridge and Epiphone deluxe tuners.
