Named “Victoria” (after the thief that stole his original beloved Gold Top back in the ‘90s), this Epiphone Slash Les Paul Standard Gold Top Electric Guitar is one of the more bittersweet models in the Epiphone Slash Collection. Part of a host of guitars that were stolen and mostly retrieved, Slash’s original Gold Top was one of the few that were never found, and so it is fitting that he has decided to name this replica after the six-string bandit that thieved it.

Epiphone’s Slash Collection offers an outstanding array of guitars that each represent an iconic time in the guitar legends career. This signature model boasts a Mahogany body with a gloss-finished gold-coloured carved hard Maple cap and a Mahogany neck with a custom “C”-shaped profile modelled to Slash’s preferences. An Indian Laurel fretboard with pearloid parallelogram inlays provides a smooth runway for your fingers that allows incredibly expressive solo work.

The Slash Les Paul Standard offers great value for money and boasts a lot of premium features for an affordable price, making it accessible to all. Its raw, aggressive sound is generated by a pair of Custom ProBucker Alnico 2 pickups, specially honed to replicate the sound of Gibson’s Custom Burstbuckers. They are each controlled by their own volume and tone CTS pots with Orange Drop capacitors. This Les Paul comes adorned with matching cream binding on its top and fretboard and comes equipped with a Locktone Tune-O-Matic Bridge and stopbar and Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuning machines.

A Slash signature guitar wouldn't be complete without Slash’s signature. Not only does his signature appear in white on the trusscover at the front of the headstock, but his signature “Skully” drawing is displayed in gold on the back of the headstock. This guitar is worth every penny and more, but if you still aren't convinced, Epiphone has also thrown in a set of their reliable strap locks and a custom hardshell case to whet your appetite (for destruction).
