About DeliveryThe Evans Hybrid Coated 13” Snare Drum Head was originally designed for marching snares, but their versatile properties made it quickly obvious that this head would be great on kit drums as well. With its robust construction and textured surface, this head is popular among hard hitters and brush players.
The Evans Hybrid Coated 13" Snare Drum Head is constructed from two unique fibres woven together for advanced degrees of strength and durability, and a wear-resistant texture. It possesses an explosive attack with good sustain and a minimized tonal depth that provides a cutting top-end sound. It generates a thin, sensitive and snappy tone familiar to the sound of a marching snare drum.
The Evans Hybrid Coated 13" Snare Drum Head also features Evans’ unique Level 360 Technology. Unlike other heads, Level 360 heads have roll-over rims that feature a steeper collar, ensuring the most balanced contact with the bearing edge of the shell. This allows for optimised head-shell contact and a better fitting head, resulting in a drum that will be easier to tune and hold its tuning better.
