Evans Power Centre 13” Snare Drum Head

The Evans Evans Power Centre 13” Snare Drum Head generates a focused sound with immense durability thanks to its durable, performance-enhancing Power Centre Dot. The dot reinforces the centre of the heads 10mil single-ply construction, making it able to withstand the hardest of hits for a long time.

The Power Centre Dot itself is a 5mil thick, 5” diameter patch featuring unique slots that allow it to flex, keeping the head open at the edges for optimised performance. It offers a moderately bright sound with plenty of sustain and a full tone. Its controlled attack is balanced by an open, resonant sound and full, ringing tone.

The Evans Power Centre 13” Snare Drum Head also features Evans’ unique Level 360 Technology. Unlike other heads, Level 360 heads have roll-over rims that feature a steeper collar, ensuring the most balanced contact with the bearing edge of the shell. This allows for optimised head-shell contact and a better fitting head, resulting in a drum that will be easier to tune and hold its tuning better.
