Evans Power Centre Reverse Dot 14” Snare Drum Head

The Evans Power Centre Reverse Dot 14” Snare Drum Head is offers a highly focused, dry sound and immense durability thanks to its hard-wearing, performance-enhancing Power Centre Reverse Dot. Standard Power Centre heads feature their dots on the upper side of the skin, but for players who prefer a smoother playing surface we would recommend these Reverse Dot heads. By positioning its dot on its underside, the top surface stays level and unhindered, providing a smooth performance particularly useful for brushwork. The Power Centre Dot itself is a 5mil thick, 5” diameter patch featuring unique slots that allow it to flex, keeping the head open at the edges for optimised performance.

The Evans Power Centre Reverse Dot 14” Snare Drum Head also features Evans’ unique Level 360 Technology. Unlike other heads, Level 360 heads have roll-over rims that feature a steeper collar, ensuring the most balanced contact with the bearing edge of the shell. This allows for optimised head-shell contact and a better fitting head, resulting in a drum that will be easier to tune and hold its tuning better.
