Evans 8" Edge Control 2 Clear Tom Head

The Evans EC2 8” Clear Tom Drum Head has been designed to enhance the tone and attack of your drum. This EC2 head features Evans’ proprietary Sound Shaping Technology (SST) in the form of the brilliant Edge Control ring; a sound-sculpting tool that will optimise the sound of each drum and tighten up your kits sonic presence overall.

This EC2 head is constructed of two 7mil layers of premium quality film with an SST Edge Control ring fitted to the underside. The ring cleverly optimises the sound commensurate to its size, controlling the edge vibrations and isolating and damping any unwanted high overtones. This great feature also enhances the tone of your drums and increase sustain, resulting in an optimally-balanced, high-quality performance.

The Evans EC2 8” Clear Tom Drum Head also features Evans’ unique Level 360 Technology. Unlike other heads, Level 360 heads have roll-over rims that feature a steeper collar, ensuring the most balanced contact with the bearing edge of the shell. This allows for optimised head-shell contact and a better fitting head, resulting in a drum that will be easier to tune and hold its tuning better.
