This batter head features Evans’ acclaimed Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping (EMAD) system. This brilliant design enables you to choose between foam damping rings of varied mass that can be fitted to the exterior face of the head to achieve the level of damping that you desire. It's an incredibly quick and easy way for you to alter your sound.

The Emad2 is constructed from two plies of premium film - 6.5mil inner and 10mil outer-  that provide a great level of durability. Strong and reliable, this great head provides a well-balanced combination of power, attack and low-end thump that you will love.
