Evans Genera HD Dry 13" Coated Snare Head

The Evans Genera HD Dry 13” Coated Snare Head is a 2-ply batter head with an inbuilt control ring that provides an dry attack with a short, controlled sustain. 

This coated head consists of a 5mil outer ply, a thicker 7.5mil inner ply and an inbuilt overtone control ring positioned on the underside. This double-layer design provides a increased durability and the overtone control ring does an amazing job of reducing unwanted overtones eliminating harsh harmonics whilst also controlling the sustain of the drum. This results in a dry, sharp attack and swift decay -  qualities further enhanced by a coated finish and the addition of precision drilled “dry vents” positioned around the outer perimeter.

The Evans Genera HD Dry 13” Coated Snare Head features Evans’ unique Level 360 Technology. Unlike other heads, Level 360 heads have roll-over rims that feature a steeper collar, ensuring the most balanced contact with the bearing edge of the shell. This allows for optimised head-shell contact and a better fitting head, resulting in a drum that will be easier to tune and hold its tuning better.
