Evans Genera HD Dry 14" Coated Snare Head

The Evans Genera HD Dry 14” Coated Snare Head is a durable 2-ply batter head designed to offer an intense, dry attack with limited sustain. 

Its twin-ply construction consists of a 5mil outer ply, a thicker 7.5mil inner ply and an inbuilt overtone control ring seated on the underside. This double-ply provides a great deal of durability whilst the overtone control ring does an amazing job of eliminating unwanted overtones and tightly controlling the sustain of the drum, resulting in a dry, sharp attack and swift decay - qualities further enhanced by the addition of precision drilled “dry vents” positioned around the outer perimeter and a coated finish.

The Evans Genera HD Dry 14” Coated Snare Head also features Evans’ unique Level 360 Technology. Unlike other heads, Level 360 heads have roll-over rims that feature a steeper collar, ensuring the most balanced contact with the bearing edge of the shell. This allows for optimised head-shell contact and a better fitting head, resulting in a drum that will be easier to tune and hold its tuning better.
