Faith FG1-HCE Legacy Earth Cutaway Electro Acoustic Guitar

Faith’s new FG1-HCE Legacy Earth Cutaway Electro Acoustic Guitar is one of a stunning new line of guitars that feature Patrick James Eggle’s acclaimed ‘Earth’ body shape. Based upon Eggle’s ‘Linville’ model, its true Orchestra Model (OM) shape shares many design aspects as Faith’s highly acclaimed Venus body shape and has an instantly familiar feel - yet its tonal palette is fresh and unique. 

The FG1-HCE is expertly crafted from Solid African Khaya Mahogany, a dense tonewood that generates a rich, velvety low-end and extensive treble range with plenty of headroom space. Its beautifully mature and unusual tone is owed to the manufacturing process used to produce its Canadian Sitka Spruce top - a painstaking ‘torrefaction’ process. High grade, select wood is air-dried and kiln-roasted in a condition-controlled environment to ensure precise atmospheric levels in order to reduce its moisture content. As the wood is cooling, moisture is then re-introduced to the wood in small, precise increments, achieving a level of stability and a mature, fundamental tone that would take 20 years to develop naturally.  

This sumptuous caramel-hued guitar is well-complemented by the addition of premium fittings, such as PJE-designed bracing, a Macassan figured Ebony pickguard, Grover rotomatic 18:1 machine heads, and a natural bone nut and bridge pins. It also comes with a high-quality hard case to keep it safe and secure.

The FG1-HCE is equipped with Fishman's latest FLEX-BLEND preamp system featuring an undersaddle piezo pickup and condenser mic. The preamp features three discrete knobs, a built-in tuner, EQ contour control, blend control (Piezo/Mic), and phase control (push to activate).
