About DeliveryThe JV Modified Series infuses the classic aesthetic of early Fender models with a modern twist of style and playability, resulting in an attractive vintage-style guitar with a distinct contemporary flavour. This Fender JV Modified '50s Telecaster Electric Guitar has been modelled on the highly-collectable “Japanese Vintage” reissues of the early ‘80s - just with an even more modern, refined sensibility.
This ’50s Telecaster has an elegant double-bound basswood body and a soft "V"-shaped Maple neck with a smooth satin finish. Its 9.5”-radius fingerboard is crafted from lovely Maple and is kitted out with 21 medium-jumbo frets for an easy-to-navigate fret-hand experience.
Classic Tele tone is supplied by a duo of dual vintage-style single-coil pickups, voiced with classic Tele tone. The modernisation of this guitar can be observed prominently in its switching. It features a 4-way switch that allows players to easily select each individual pickup or both collectively, in either series or parallel wiring. A simple yet highly-effective push-pull function on the tone control enables you to switch the pickups in and out of phase in switch positions 2 and 4, allowing you to explore the guitar's hollow, thin side to its tone.
Comes with a deluxe gigbag.
