Its versatile sound plays well with a host of different playing styles which, along with the high-performance Maple neck, suits players who like to play a mixture of genres.  Comfortable and smooth, the Maple neck is a joy to play and complements the Alder perfectly, adding crispness to the highs by focusing the top-end and increasing attack. The neck's modern C shape minimises hand fatigue so you can play for longer periods without the usual aches creeping in. This model features a sleek Pau Ferro fingerboard that adds as much richness and warmth to the guitar's aesthetic as it does to its sound. 

Fender has ensured this bass’ lovely tones are conveyed as efficiently as possible by equipping it with a fine selection of electronic components. Two Fender Player Series single-coil pickups add gritty power to a sound that blends classic Fender tone and the more modern sound of the Fender Player Series. Full of richness and lively energy, these pickups generate a huge bass sound that won't disappoint.
