The Player Plus Strat takes its cues from the Player Strat but features some great tweaks and enhancements - not to mention a range of jaw-droppingly stunning new finishes. This Strat represents the next stage in the evolution of the acclaimed Player series and we like where it's heading. This is an exciting, refreshing guitar that you’ll never want to put down. 

This strat features a classic Strat SSS pickup configuration - with a couple of enhancements. First of all, the Player Plus features all-new specially-designed Noiseless pickups that produce a bright, clean signal and do a great job of eliminating unwanted hum and noise. Secondly, Fender has seen fit to include a handy dual-function push-pull tone pot that when activated, adds the neck pickup to switch positions 1 and 2, creating two sounds not usually found on a Strat but more in line with the Telecaster sound.

The Player Plus neck and fingerboard has received a new format too. This Strat features a satin-finished, Modern “C” Player Plus Strat neck crafted from choice Maple and shaped with smooth rolled edges for amazing fret-hand comfort. The neck's extreme playability is enhanced by a Maple fingerboard with a 12” radius fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets. The flatter-than-normal fingerboard profile lets you perform some extreme bends without fretting out, and supports a fluid performance up and down the scales. A 2-point tremolo provides classic vibrato effects and collaborates with locking tuners to provide next-level tuning stability.
