The Gretsch Brooklyn 20” 3-Piece Drum Shell Pack is a one-up, one-down beauty that possesses the classy vintage vibe of Gretsch’s classic kits, but with a fresh, contemporary flavour that reflects the vibrant spirit of its birthplace - Brooklyn, N.Y.C.

Gretsch drums were born in Brooklyn in 1883 and continued to be produced there for the following 80-odd years. The spirit of the city is ever-present in those early kits, and was essential in helping the company create “That Great Gretsch Sound” - an inimitable quality that only a Gretsch kit can possess. Although they may have stopped manufacturing their kits in NYC, the history is still inherent in their kits today - especially the Gretsch Brooklyn kit. 

This exquisite set of hand-crafted shells is a modernised take on their early kits, imbued with That Great Gretsch Sound and a testament to the company’s roots. Each of these 6-ply, Maple/Poplar hybrid shells is precision-crafted to the highest standard, and features a 30° bearing edge and an inner shell coating of Gretsch’s infamous ‘Silver Sealer’. Add some high-quality chrome hardware - such as Gretch’s double-flanged, 3mm-steel ‘302’ hoops - and a sublime Satin Mahogany finish, and you've got a modern classic on your hands.
