Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz 20" 4-Piece Shell Pack - Gloss Crimson Burst

The Catalina Club Jazz is a sophisticated jazz-size kit full of Gretsch charm and classical beauty. These shells are crafted from 7-ply Mahogany and produce deep, rich tones that belie their size. The 20 x 14” bass drum is the key to this kit’s vibrant, jazzy energy. Its shallow depth means that less air needs to be moved between skins, making the feel and response sharp and exciting.

The 12 x 8” rack tom and 14 x 14” floor tom strike a tonal balance with the sparky bass drum. The 14 x 5.5” snare drum is snappy and cuts well without being overwhelming. It also comes in a matching finish, as do the bass drum hoops; nice, classy details that unify the look of the kit. The Gloss Crimson Burst finish is an absolute winner, suiting the kits vintage charisma down to the ground.

The Catalina Club features some updated hardware that offers the kit a new look without losing any vintage appeal. A round “gas cap” bass drum mount plate, a Mini GTS mounting system, reduced-mass tom mount brackets and Gretsch T-Wing screws and bolts give this Catalina Club the old-school Gretsch look and feel that we all know and love.
