The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner Jr Electric Guitar is a  sharp, sleek instrument that combines slick, easy playability with charming style. Within its arched laminated Maple body rests a Spruce centreblock that allows for incredible high-gain clarity, which in turn allows its duo of humbuckers to perform at peak. Although this Streamliner Jr is bursting with vintage charm, it features just the right degree of modern components to perform at the required high standard required by today's players.

The Streamliner Jr is - as the name suggests - the smaller brother of the Streamliner. It features a smaller-scale body but the same scale neck, which means its playability is similar but it is lighter and more comfortable. All of the iconic streamliner features are present, including black vintage-style control knobs, enlarged F-holes for increased acoustic projection,  aged white binding with upgraded purfling,  nickel hardware, and a three-ply black pickguard. Your left hand will be treated to the delights of a fast-playing 12”-radius Laurel fingerboard atop a white-bound Nato neck with a thin “U”-shaped profile - perfect for smooth runs up and down its 22 medium-jumbo frets. Whether you are playing down and dirty riffs, crunching chords or wailing leads, this neck and fretboard combo will serve you well.

The high-output Broadtron humbucking pickup has been specifically designed for the Streamliner Collection, and adds a huge amount of character to these fine guitars. They provide a high degree of definition with tighter bass response, resulting in robust lows, pristine highs and a gnarly midrange. The pickups are controlled by a traditional layout of two volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control and a three-way pickup selector switch. Last but not least, the Streamliner Jr is equipped with a vintage-style Bigsby-licenced B50 vibrato tailpiece, giving you the ability to create some amazingly authentic, shimmering effects to pepper throughout your performances.
