About DeliveryThis Gretsch USA 14 x 6.5" Solid Aluminium Snare Drum is a belter. It has a dry, focused attack with a metallic timbre but minimal overtones.
The G4164SA’s solid aluminium shell is 3mm thick and 5mm at its reinforced edges and features a satin aluminium finish with Gretch’s signature classic centre knurling stripe. This 10-lugged snare is top and tailed by a Permatone-coated top head and 42-strand snare wire, along with die-cast hoops.
The Gretsch USA 14 x 6.5" Solid Aluminium Snare Drum also features a Lightning throw-off and a useful 'Snap-In' key holder.
