About Delivery

The Korg Nautilus 61 Key Workstation Synthesizer is a powerful workstation featuring all of the functionality any producer or composer should ever need. This is a feature-filled, state-of-the-art instrument ideal for both studio and stage, offering a massive array of high-quality, versatile tools, sounds and effects.

Much like Korg’s acclaimed Kronos workstation, the Nautilus offers an intuitive, immersive experience designed to support the performer. Its sleek looks are matched by an equally streamlined interface featuring a cleverly designed, easy to navigate layout. Sounds are broken down into three fundamental categories - Unique, Current and Standard - to make them easy to explore.

The “Unique” category is full of exciting, fresh new sounds from never-before-sampled instruments around the world. This category provides some wonderfully unique flavours ideal for experimenting with. For modern, cutting-edge, “now” sounds, dive into the “Current” category. This library of sounds and presets includes amazing synth, bass and drum sounds ideal for EDM, chiptune, electro, hip-hop, trap and many others. To ensure you are furnished with a full complement of sounds, the “Standard” category includes everything else you might ever need, such as electric guitars, acoustic guitars, pianos and electric pianos. As you would expect, each instrument in these categories has been painstakingly and accurately sampled and configured to react to the slightest nuance in your performance.

The Nautilus boasts nine powerful and varied engines to host its wide array of sounds. The SGX-2 engine’s premium piano authentically recreates the sounds of classic grands while the EP-1 engine uses MDS (multi-dimensional synthesis) tech to ensure smooth, velocity-switched electric piano samples.

The CX-3 tonewheel organ engine offers classic organ sounds such as the Korg CX-3, capturing every nuance that made the original such a legend. The HD-1 engine is a powerful high-def synth that employs KORG’s proprietary sample playback oscillators to generate its cutting-edge sounds.

If vintage sounds are what you need, the MS-20EX legacy analogue collection engine recreates the classic raw sounds of the MS-20 in all of its minutiae, and the AL-1 Analog synth engine, the wave sculpting MOD-7  VPM synth engine and the STR-1 plucked strings engine provide more than enough eclectic sounds for you to create the most amazing compositions. To ensure you can make full use of its amazing sound library, the Nautilus employs an open sampling system and 16 studio-grade onboard effects. It also features USB/MIDI host ports so you can use the Nautilus with your favourite DAW or other MIDI controller of your choice.

The Nautilus features Korg’s exclusive custom DYNAMICS knob which provides a unique way to control the parameters of your sounds as you play, giving you real-time power over tonality and response. As you play, you can dial the DYNAMICS knob from a flat response to more varied velocities and tones, fluidly and seamlessly.

The Korg Nautilus possesses an innovative 800x600 pixel TouchView display with an insanely crisp and 8” screen. The display is touch-controlled and allows you to intuitively navigate your settings and parameters in the same manner as you would explore your smartphone's interface. You can even use the display as a virtual patchboard, connecting virtual patch cables to your onboard synths. Another TouchView feature is the onboard 16-track MIDI and audio track sequencer, a powerful tool that utilises Korg’s Open Sampling System to let you arrange and sequence whilst using up to 16 dedicated effects processors simultaneously. And if the touchscreen display isn't enough for you, the Nautilus also boasts six RT knobs that let you make real-time changes to their assigned functions, from filter cutoff, effect depth and swing.
