This traditional African instrument originating from Nigeria and literally means "pottery" in the native language, and seeing as the Udu is crafted from clay - it makes a lot of sense! It presents a very distinctive sound which is something like a bottle being blown blended with a percussive slap.
This 13 x 9 inch model is the smallest that LP offers, and it presents the highest pitch of the series of the lovely warm percussive tone.
