This hat stand derives its amazing performance from the following set of features: a Centroid 3-point stability system that elevates the back end of the base plate. By lifting the rear off of the floor, the heel plate end of the base plate acts as a third leg, combining with the stands two double-braced legs to form a tripod. All of the stability of a three-legged stand with the small footprint of a two-legged one, ideal for double kick pedal players.
The stands modern-classic footboard has been CAD designed with precision in order to maximise its high-strength to light-weight ratio. The footboard is infinitely adjustable with a removable toe stop and the Centroid foundation plate breaks down quickly and easily for transport or storage. Ludwig’s Aerodisc Bottom Cymbal Tilter takes a fresh new approach to hi hat angle adjustment. It employs a unique revolving mechanism that lets you quickly and easily position and lock your bottom in place at your desired angle.
Feel and response is enhanced by the addition of Full Range adjustable spring tension, giving you six points of tension to dial through and a Progressive Action Linkage transfers energy usage from speed to power as the pedal moves through its stroke.
The Ludwig Atlas Pro Two Legged Hi Hat Stand also features SpurLok heel plate anchors, a vice-grip tube joint with integrated memory lock, rotatable base legs, vibration-reducing rubber feet, Nylon lined 1.25/1/.75" Tier Tubing for maximum stability and durability.
