This Ludwig Universal 14 x 6.5" Cherry Shell Snare Drum is a stunner from Ludwig’s Universal series - a collection of extremely versatile, dynamic - and modestly-priced - snare drums designed to accommodate players of many different styles, genres, and playing standards.

At 6.5” deep, this 7.5mm Cherry wood shell generates a deep, gutsy tone with a huge amount of body to it and a coarse, defined attack. The distinctive ‘woody’ sound of this snare comes to the fore when playing rimshots and cross-stick and cuts through with great power.
