The Mapex Black Panther 'Razor' is a 14 x 5” Maple snare drum which - yes, you guessed it - has a hair-splittingly sharp edge to its attack. Crafted from 6-ply 6.0mm Maple capped with triple-flanged hoops, this snare generates a cutting, edgy bite with a brilliant high-end perfect for slicing through even the densest of mixes.
The Razor features Mapex’s SONIClear 45° bearing edges, staggered ⅛” offset locking B-Lugs and a stable cylinder-drive strainer which all help to keep your ideal sound dialled in and held consistently.
