Meinl Percussion Woodcraft Professional Series Cajon - Makah Burl Frontplate

The Meinl Woodcraft Professional Cajon is the centrepiece of Meinl’s Woodcraft Cajon series thanks to its beautiful aesthetic and wonderfully rich, mature tone. Its 12mm thick shell is constructed from high-quality Baltic Birch, a wonderfully resonant tonewood usually reserved for manufacturing upscale guitar cabinets due to its durable structure and fantastic projective properties. The attractive faceplate is crafted from Makah-burl which adds a degree of crispness to the tonal mix as well as an exquisite look. 

Externally, rounded corners provide a comfortable playing experience whilst internally, a set of fixed micro-coiled steel Cajon strings provide a crisp, sensitive,  snare-like snap and a pinch of precision to your finger work.
