Fans of the original Carbon Copy analogue delay pedal are in for a treat. MXR has taken the framework of the highly popular original and added an array of brilliant features. The delay time has been extended from 600ms to a fantastic 1.2s, and you now have advanced control over your delay thanks to the addition of tap tempo and a tap division feature. 

Tap tempo is a breeze to use and makes tempo synchronization speedy and intuitive. The tap division feature gives you four different subdivisions to work with - dotted 8th, 8th, triplet, and 16th - all presented with an easy-to-read status display. The Carbon Copy Deluxe gives you a high degree of control over the rhythm of your delay effect.

Another great treat - this pedal allows you to opt between the dark tone of the original Carbon Copy or the vibrant energy of the Bright pedal. The original infamous delay effect has been popularised by its dark and thick wash and the Carbon Copy Bright pedal added some sweet shine to that brilliant analogue sound. This Deluxe version gives you the option to access each of these great sounds with a simple tap of a button, with both classic sounds distilled into one easy to use pedal that will take up less real estate on your pedalboard.

The Carbon Copy Deluxe also features a Mod button which emulates the sound of an old tape delay's pitch modulation which adds yet another level of beautiful shimmer to your tones. While previous models have required you to open up your pedal and set the mod internally, the Deluxe has added these controls to the top of the pedal for easy access.
