The Cafe Kit is one of the quickest selling drum kits that we've ever had here at Wembley Drum Centre, so if you're interested don't hesitate as this is pure lovely little drum kit will certainly not stick around for long. A micro kit in one of the coolest cofigurations out there, it's simple to set-up, super efficient and sounds amazing.
This micro kit comes complete with hardware, is extremely affordable and is such great quality that it's entirely appropriate for any player ranging from absolute beginner, to constantly gigging drummers. Packing a punch far stronger than you'd imagine from these "travel" sizes, it's a great kit for practice, live gigs and any application you can throw it into!

- As good as they say...Review by Craig
First read about the Cafe Kit on compactdrums.com where it got great reviews. I'd been looking for a compact kit for practice so rolled the dice and bought one - I needn't have worried.
Set up and breakdown is easy and straight out the box it sounded fine - but with some tuning and moongels the whole thing sounds great. The toms in particular are a revelation (great tone & attack and easy to tune) and the snare delivers a popping rimshot. All three really cut through. The bass was the drum I was worried about (14" - really?) and I swapped out the fitted head with an Evans EC2; OK, Bonham it ain't but it has plenty of punch and low end for its size and makes itself heard.
The hardware is well made, chrome is good and the open lugs look fantastic. Only two minor gripes 1) it comes with pedals which most of us probably won't need (as a second kit) so would be nice to have the option not to have them, and 2) would like a wooden hoop 'n' claw option for the bass drum - probably wouldn't make much difference to the sound but aesthetically it would look as cute as a bucket full of pugs. So well done Odery - an incredibly well thought out and made kit. I'm in love, and will be buying the 20" expansion bass drum kit soon. (Posted on 11/02/2018)
- Playing Gigs with the Cafe KitReview by Mike
I needed a small kit for small Jazz venues, I bought a Natal Kit which was poorly finished, damaged and parts missing when it was delivered. I got my money back and bought this little kit.
I've played 3 gigs now and I have to say it is brilliant. The only thing I have done is to change the batter head on the 14" bass drum and fitted some internal damping to get rid of the overtones. I am going to fit 2" drum O's next for improved volume and to allow a mic to be used. All in all very pleased and it impresses everyone wherever we play. (It's just the idiot behind it that doesn't) (Posted on 14/08/2017)
