Orange Micro Dark Guitar Amp Head

The Orange Micro Dark Guitar Amp Head's new 12AX7-driven high-gain preamp generates amazing dirty distortion which, combined with the same intuitive Shape control that made Orange's Dark Terror amp head such a hit, offers a huge amount of tonal versatility for you to explore. Although distortion is the Micro Dark's forte, it is capable of producing brilliant clean sounds and gritty, growling overdrive too. You'll be amazed at the variety of tone, gain and power you can achieve through this head - especially as its only the size of a lunchbox.

Its lightweight, super-compact frame makes transportation and storage a breeze, making it ideal for the gigging axe-warrior. When matched up with the Orange PPC108 speaker cabinet, you can still fit the entire rig in a rucksack and carry it about with ease. As perfect apairing as the Micro Dark and the PPC108 make, if it's not powerful enough for you you can always hook this head up to Orange's PPC412 instead to generate some monstrously massive distortion. Whichever cabinet you decide to put your Micro Dark head through, you are going to be astounded by the heads clarity and articulation.

The aforementioned Shape control lets you dial out the mids as you please, resulting in boosted bass and treble - perfect for capturing different distorted metal tones from punchy darkness to crunchy, scooped-out shred. The Micro Dark also features a transparent fully-buffered low-impedence effects loop to always ensure a clean signal path and a headphone output with CabSim circuitry lets you output some fantastic emulated orange cab tones.
