Orange Rocker 15 Terror Guitar Amp Head

With its variable power output, the potential of the Orange Rocker 15 Terror Guitar Amp Head is, well… terrifying. This is an extremely compact two-channel all-valve amp head designed to serve the requirements of any surrounding - whether you are practising at home, jamming in the studio or rocking hard at a live show. 

The Rocker 15 Terror is the head-only version of Orange Amps’ acclaimed Rocker 15 Combo and employs the same transformers to create its powerful sound. Its power output can be switched between 15, 7, 1 and half a Watt, enabling you to achieve a full, fat tone at all volumes. This means that you can use it in 0.1W ‘Bedroom’ mode to practise at home, and then crank it out in 15W ‘Venue’ mode for a gig without compromising the warm valve sound you love. 

One of the great things about the Rocker 15 Terror is its simplicity. It offers two channels; the first is the ‘Natural’ channel which is controlled by a mere volume knob. All of the attention is focused on the most well-balanced, natural signal possible, allowing the pure intricacies of your instrument to be heard in all of its glory. On the flip side, channel two is the aptly-named ‘Dirty’ channel. This channel provides a more traditional control panel with volume, gain and 3-band EQ so you can dial in some gritty, dirty tones. Between the two channels, you get a surprisingly broad range of tone with plenty of character, but its simple control layout allows you to find and keep your sound exactly where you like it. A proper, valve-driven effects loop adds even more versatility and keeps your signal pure from input to output.
