Pearl SN-1420D Ultra Sound Snare Wires

Pearl’s SN-1420D Ultra Sound Snare Wires are super-sensitive and provide a great way to upgrade your 14" wood-shell snare drum. Its “D”-style design increases tension in the centre wires for an articulate response that will bring out all of the subtle timbres of your wooden snare drum. 

Ultra-Sound Wires’ unique design allows you to choose from three different mounting options, enabling you to customise your sound. You can opt for a channel chord receiver that allows the wires to lay perfectly flat against the head, a standard chord receiver for a more traditional sound or a strap receiver for use of a preferred strap. Pearl's unique low-mass snare wires are uncoated for a raw snare experience but treated to be free of rust for years to come.
