The SUB 705-AS II is a fine representation of RCF’s technical and acoustic expertise. This is a powerful bass reflex sub housed in a compact chassis, able to generate some monstrously huge lows that belie its size.

This sub achieves very high SPL levels even at its lowest frequencies, ensuring that the deepest, darkest tones can be heard, and considering its small dimensions (compared to similar spec subs on the market), has a brilliant size/weight to SPL output ratio. No matter how low you go, the 705-AS II will ensure that your bass frequencies are punching.

The 705-AS is definitely designed to withstand life on the road. Its cabinet is built from robust Baltic Birch plywood covered with a textured black finish, its chamber optimised to provide a deep and thumping bass with plenty of ‘thwomp’. The front grill is powder-coated black with an innovative foam backing that RCF states is “transparent-to-sound”, which means that while acting as a barrier against dust and dirt sneaking in, it will not affect the audio performance of the speaker. The cabinet also has a standard pole receiver and ergonomic handles, which, considering this cab is designed to be stackable and used in various configurations to suit you, makes life a whole lot easier. 

RCF has kitted the 705-AS II out with high-grade electronic components too. A 15” high power woofer with a 3” voice coil is powered by a 1400 Watt digital amplifier that features a solid machined aluminium structure for increased stability and heat dissipation.
