The Roland VAD706 V-Drums Acoustic Design Kit is a five-piece kit controlled by the TD-50X sound module and featuring full-sized, hand-crafted wood shells and double-braced chrome stands. The pinnacle of electronic drums to date, the VAD706 offers a bold new drumming experience like never before. Roland’s next-gen TD-50X sound module is an absolute marvel; jam-packed with amazing voices sampled from many of the best kits in the world, this module possesses some very powerful editing tools with a crazy amount of adjustable parameters that let you create authentic-sounding unique kits. You can change nearly every aspect of each drum and cymbals sound with precision, and even have a huge amount of control over the ambient sound of your environment and your virtual mic setup. 

The VAD series has always featured digital snares and ride cymbals that offer unparalleled sensitivity. Not only does the VAD706 come with these, but takes the digital components to another level with the addition of the amazing VH-14D Digital Hi-Hat. Never before has an electronic hi-hat offered such a broad range of sensitivity and sophistication. All of the drum pads are housed in full-size wooden shells that add a sense of body to the look and feel of the kit, as well as generate an acoustic sonic presence that enhances each electronic sound. Each drum is also fitted with high-quality tension-tunable mesh heads that deliver an extremely authentic response.

Another great pro of the VAD706 is its potential for expansion. There are a whopping four extra auxiliary trigger inputs available, so you can add on extra toms, cymbals or even an additional bass drum if required.
