With a good balance of speed, pitch, and projection, the hats offer a steady, well-rounded platform to base your sound around. Its smaller-sized bell makes for a purer, more defined sound and a clean, cutting "chick." 

Thin profiles and low weight gift the hand-tuned Crashes a vigorous and explosive energy. Their complex mix of dark timbre and sensitive articulation makes them ideal for both stage and studio use. The versatile ride not only provides a pure and defined stick sound but also doubles up as a great heavy crash when necessary thanks to its fast response, expressive wash and short decay.
