Shure BLX288/PG58 Dual Channel Handheld Wireless System

The Shure BLX288/PG58 Dual Channel Handheld Wireless System is Shure’s most accessible wireless mic set, built to last, tuned specifically for vocals, and set at a reasonable price point. 

The BLX288/PG58 comes with 2 x PG58 wireless vocal microphones, 2 BLX2 handheld transmitters and a BLX88 wireless receiver. It also comes with swivel adapters, thread adapters and a power supply. 

PG58 vocal mics are especially tailored with a frequency response ideal for vocal applications, featuring a cardioid polar pattern that reads sound from in front of the mic and less from the sides, resulting in focused vocal pickup and helping to reduce feedback. The PG58’s rugged build makes it an ideal mic for bands with energetic live performances - it’s built to take wear and abuse. A rugged, simple coil, metal chassis, hardened steel mesh ball grille and internal shock mount keeps this mic performing consistently, gig after gig.

The BLX2 Handheld Transmitter syncs harmoniously with the BLX88 receiver for uninterrupted wireless connectivity and a clear, clean signal. The transmitter is quick and easy to sync and features a power and battery status LED, adjustable gain control and runs for up to 14 hours of continuous use off of two AA batteries. What's more, this transmitter has a line-of-sight operating range of 100 metres.

The whole shebang works like a charm thanks to the BLX88 receiver. This magical box can sync up with up to 12 compatible systems (region dependent) and utilises one touch QuickScan technology to locate the best open frequency. The BLX88 features ¼" and XLR audio outputs for easy mixing desk/pa connectivity and a simple two colour audio status indicator LED.
