In the same way that their Classic Vibe ‘50s and 60’s models encapsulate the mood of Fenders guitars of their eras, Squier’s Classic Vibe ‘70s Telecaster Custom does the same fine job, bringing the essence of the 1970’s Tele’s to today’s players.

With the burgeoning sound of heavy and prog rock requiring some well-needed jangle to complement the progression of distorted amps, the Tele seemed to be the best direction for many 70’s musicians to move towards and led to some of the best riffs, recordings and raw rock’n’roll performances. 

The Squier Classic Vibe '70s Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar pays homage to the Tele’s of the 1970s and produces the same great tone thanks to its alnico single-coil and Wide Range humbucking pickup combo. Crafted from Maple, this Tele’s “C”-shaped neck and 9.5”-radius fingerboard adds some nice crisp spanky top end to the tonal mix and provides a nice and easy-playing platform upon which you can perform some awesome manoeuvres. 

A vintage-style string-through-body Telecaster bridge features barrel saddles for the best possible resonance and along with a set of vintage-style tuning machines, provide a solid degree of string stability. This slick Tele also features a ‘70s-inspired headstock and nickel-plated hardware, as well as a vintage tinted gloss urethane neck finish.
