The Tama 6 x 5” Mini Tymp Snare is an ultra-compact drum that comes with its own mounting bracket so you can immediately add this to your existing setup without the need for additional hardware. It's tiny, lightweight frame allows it to be placed around your kit in a wide variety of handy position and its simple single-head design generates a great range of timbale/high-pitched snare sounds.

This brilliant little tymp can be used both as a snare or timbale, offering a variety of versatile sounds and making this add-on drum great value-for-money. Simply engage the half-set snare wires against the batter head and dial in your snare tension using the strainer adjustment control and this drum will deliver some great high-pitched snare cracks with melodic, metallic overtones.

The 1.0mm steel shell produces clear, defined high-end tones with a scooped mid-range and low end. One thing's for sure - this little snare has a penetrating punch that will cut through nicely and add some snap to your accents.
