Tama Cobra Coil

The Tama Cobra Coil is an adjustable steel spring which mounts to the base-plate of your Tama Cobra pedal. The Coil assists in the snap-back of the footboard, adding some extra force that allows it to return to its original position with more urgency. It's a subtle difference in feel but it’s one that makes all the difference - being allowed to dial in the action of your footboard response opens up a whole new level of unity between you and your pedal.

The Cobra Coil can be adjusted to different positions on the baseplate; shifting it forwards or backwards alters the level of pressure  and allows you to get the action just how you want it to feel.
