Tama Starclassic Performer Maple/Birch 22” 4-piece Drum Shell Pack - Caramel Aurora

The Tama Starclassic Performer Maple/Birch 22” 4-Piece Drum Shell Pack is a beautiful sounding kit featuring shells crafted from a Maple and Birch blend. This combination is a perfect marriage that gives the Starclassic Performer a unique edge, successfully blending the mellow warmth of Birch with the snappy vibrancy of Maple. The Starclassic Performer series uses the fundamental sound of Tama’s awesome Starclassic Maple kit as its baseline, but introduces an entirely new ingredient into the mix. 

This kit has a 2-up, 1-down configuration that covers a broad tonal spectrum. It consists of a 10 x 8” rack tom, 12 x 9” rack tom, 16 x 14” floor tom and a 22 x 16” bass drum.

Each tom is equipped with Tama’s die-cast hoops and the rack toms feature Tama’s Star-Cast mounting system, designed to allow each tom to resonate at its full potential. The floor tom legs come with air pocketed rubber feet for minimal vibration transference and the bass drum features rubber-based claw hooks to eliminate any rattling, and spur brackets with memory markers to help keep your setup consistent and easy. Each shell is fitted with Evans drumheads for a versatile, high-quality sound. 

This kit has all the properties a gigging drummer needs from their live kit. Brilliant response, great projection, wide dynamic range - and of course, a sumptuous Caramel Aurora finish that will look insanely gorgeous on stage. It's a kit that has to be played to be believed and will not disappoint.
