The new Tanglewood Java series is an absolutely stunning series of guitars, thanks to the unique combination of Cedar, Amara and Spalt Mango, resulting in a guitar that looks and sounds simply incredible. This Tanglewood TWJFE is an electro-acoustic, ready for you to perform to the world!

The tone of this guitar is lush and smooth. The top is crafted from Solid Cedar which allows the guitar to resonate well and project very well, and combined with the Amara sides and Amara/Spalt Mango, this guitar is highly sophisticated in tone despite its impressive price. What we particularly love here at Wembley is the look these woods have. Amara, being of the Ebony family is deep and rich in colour, with beautiful grain, and paired with the lighter Spalt Mango, it is a look like no other.

In orchestra/folk size, this guitar is wonderfully comfortable to play. It’s natural under the fingers which has you wanting to play for hours on end. The size is perfect for those of you who travel with your guitar a lot, or if you just feel more comfortable with a smaller body guitar. What you lose in terms of projection from the body size, you gain in the excellent Fishman Sonitone preamp. This electro-acoustic allows you to perform to larger crowds using a smaller body guitar. The pickup allows the true character of the tonewoods used to still be heard even through a PA system. The result is a guitar that not only looks amazing and sounds great but is built for a gigging musician; easy to transport, easy to play and easy to hookup for larger audiences.
