With a parlour shaped body, the TWJP E from Tanglewood is a guitar ideally suited to smaller players, and is quite often the shape of choice for artists who like to move around on stage without worrying about the often bulky shape of acoustic guitars. Although the shape takes away some of the volume, this guitar more than makes up for it in tone by utilizing a unique blend of materials and a world class pre-amp system. Read on to find out more!
Tanglewood have used a very rarely seen combination of Amara and Spalt Mango for the back and sides, not only is this a sonically interesting instrument but absolutely sublime visually. Teamed with a far more commonly used cedar top, the TWJP E provides creamy and rich acoustic sound that'll work nicely for any application you choose. An in-built Fishman Presys pre-amp offers maximum control over your EQ settings, optimising performance - all within a small, unobtrusive format allowing the user to hone their tone when plugging into amplification.
Great sound quality is matched only by playability, and as soon as you pick up this guitar you'll be hooked. A comfortable nato neck with sonokoling fingerboard gives a feeling that will satisfy even music veterans.
