The Yamaha Stage Custom Hip 20" 4-Piece Shell Pack is the perfect gigging companion for drummers who need to travel light without compromising tone. These shells are crafted from 100% Birch and generate the bright, crisp sound that Yamaha Drums are infamous for. With a strong mid-range and impressive resonance, these shells are expressive and full. 

Light, portable and compact, these shells all have shallow dimensions but regular diameters, ensuring great tonal depth and a good amount of bottom end. This way you get to cut down on your footprint while retaining a potent sound. With a bass drum merely 8” deep, the Stage Custom Hip is perfect for even the tiniest venues, or even for home practice.  

The Stage Custom Hip is also noteworthy for its versatility. Although only a one up, one down configuration, there's a great dual-function feature that expands your sonic possibilities. In addition to the snappy 13 x 5” snare drum, you’ll find that the floor tom is also equipped with snare wires and a smooth strainer mechanism, so you can create some varied sounds with the simple switch of a throw off and make your Hip work in a vast range of musical scenarios.

These shells also come with a ball mount and clamp which keeps your rack tom stable and secure whilst offering a great variety of positioning options.
