The Tour Custom range is a natural evolution of Yamaha’s Absolute Series, continuing to offer economical and stylish all-Maple kits that possess all of the qualities that a good gig-ready kit requires. This Yamaha Tour Custom 22” 5-Piece Drum Shell Pack comes in a luscious Chocolate Satin finish and includes the following:

This Tour Custom kit features all-Maple shells that ensure a high degree of tonal warmth and brightness. They comprise a 6-ply, 5.6mm thick construction with a 45-degree bearing edge for optimum sustain, response, and tonal depth. The rack toms are equipped with Yamaha’s Y.E.S.S.  suspension mounts that are cleverly designed to minimise mount-to-shell contact, allowing the tom to access its full dynamic range and achieve full sustain.

Each shell features classy Absolute lugs and newly designed 2.3mm Inverse Dyna hoops (barring the bass drum that features matching Maple hoops) that are designed to harness the natural overtones that all-Maple drums are prone to generate, keeping the sound grounded and controlled at all times while allowing the fundamental tone of the shell to push to the fore.
